Abstract

The current pace of the development of digital technologies has brought considerable privacy risks in
terms of social networking sites to cloud recording solutions. As big data, machine learning and the
Internet of Things (IoT) equipment proliferate, securing personal information is increasingly becoming
a matter of concern. This study examines how the new technologies like blockchain, artificial
intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) are used to fill the current security holes in privacy
protection. This paper will set out to seek out the approach that is currently being applied to protect
privacy of users by consulting the available literature and make an analysis of currently available
technologies. The findings indicate that blockchain is highly decentralized and provides integrity to
data, but AI and ML have a potential to identify weak points and forecast security breaches.
Nevertheless, there are still obstacles in regard to scalability, data governance, and interpretability of a
model. It is the purpose of the research to give an understanding of the way the discussed technologies
can cooperate and develop a safer digital environment. The results suggest to augment the
decentralized strategies with smart predictive mechanisms to greatly improve resilience of privacy
preserving technology.
